VideosTone update to 1.2 for open all features

The update to version 1.2 of VideosTone makes the Personalize Settings option available without purchasing the application…which is cool! The Personalize Settings option allows you to apply Video Ringers to select contacts. When you choose the Personalize Settings option, you will see the Select a Person field…this will allow you to choose a contact from your Contact List. Once you have selected a contact, you can then select a phone number for that contact. It will automatically bring you back to the Personalize Settings screen and the contact’s Name and Number will be automatically added to the Name and Mobile fields.
You can then choose the RingTone and Video you would like to apply for that contact. Another cool new feature with the update, is when you select a video, it will play a preview of that video. This helps in knowing exactly what video you are choosing. Once all the information is entered (Name, Mobile, RingTone, Video) you can go back to the Main Menu by selecting VideosTone in the upper left corner. To customize another contact’s ringtone, just go back into the Personalize Settings field and repeat the steps. The only confusing part about this whole process is that it does not list which contacts you have changed. If you want to delete a contact’s VideosTone, you have to remember which contact it is, pull it up with the Select a Person field, select the correct number, scroll down and select Delete this Contact VideosTone. I have a feeling this could get confusing very quickly. You can get VideosTone through the iFoneTec source.

I think this app has a lot of potential, but what I would like to be able to do is to only enable the video ringtones for certain contacts, meaning, I would like to keep some contacts with their photos, and just have some others play the video, I tryied doing this by setting the default ringtone to just sound, but instead of a picture, a black image appeared.
Any thoughts?
For me personal videotones does not work, looks like program does not recognize ukrainian numbers like +38 (xxx) xxx-xx-xx
Certain videos crash phone when trying to answer calls.
Also when loading it up to change videotone automatically tries to log you in and makes it difficult to change videos. Anyone else recieving this problem?
i made my own ringtone and video but when i want it to put a video on one of my contacts and a custom ringtone it doesnt work it plays the default does anybody know why this happens
Need some help, can’t seem to find videotone in ssh folders. I looked under media but nothing there. Any advice would be greatly apreciated.
I´ve updated to V 1.2 and now I´m able to assign certain videos to the contacts.
But in any case the default video is running. Maybe the program does not recognize the numbers in format +49 (xxx) xxxxxxx
Even muting the phone doesn´t take affect
custom videotones work.but only default tone show,s up.for all contacts.i set diffre..vide tones for diffrent numbers.but only default vi to show.i search everywhere. No solution yet..
I have the same issue as the others. Only the default video ringtone works, and I am unable to assign specific video ringtones to people.
Also, as previously reported by other users, the iphone will crash under the following scenario:
When you answer your phone after the person has already hung up, the phone will crash and will require a reboot. If a person hangs up before they reach your voicemail, your phone may ring for a couple of seconds even though they already hung up. If you answer your phone in this time period between when they hung up and when your phone is still ringing, your phone will crash.

Hy i downloaded first Version 1.0 and it worked. Now i tried to update to1.2 and I always get: Error - Package download failed!!!!

Interesting, and a GREAT APP, but still needs the feature where the sound doesn’t play when its Silenced…this becomes a hassle at work,school, etc.
Ok here is my only problem with the app.
I love everything about it, and the viva la vida video ringer is perfect for the iphone.
The silence switch.
If you put the phone in silent mode via the switch on the side, say for movies etc, when the phone rings if a video tone is selected it still plays the audio.
Can this be fixed? Can you have the video muted but the vibrate and the video still play?
Perhaps a setting that saves your videotone settings but turns the feature off when in silent mode so it goes back to the phone default which wont matter because its silent….
Really would be appreciated if it could be fixed.

To get the individual contacts to work to various videos, you have to edit the phone number to include the 1 (123) 456-790. Without the one, the individual contact settings will not work properly. I changed all my contact numbers to include the 1 and area code. I live in the US by the way.
Yes, I agree that when switched to silent, the sound of the video should be muted as well.
Sadly, if you are using a personnalised settings.plist you just can’t install this app.. would be nice if we could get a zip or something..
just waiting for an update so that when the silent switch is on, there is no sound coming

Good analysys….regarding Personalize settings, will work only in U.S.I mean which starts with 1.Is it a bug or they wanted like that only…i mean this APP works only for U.S people….
I am outside of U.S,Is there any way to utilize thatone….
